The extraordinary brewery tour
What to expect: Discover the most beautiful breweries in the heart of Cologne and enjoy a delicious Kölsch in each of the 4 breweries in a funny round, so that you quench your thirst for Kölsch!
In 1986 the Kölsch Convention stipulated what Kölsch is, where it is brewed and what it is drunk from. Kölsch is protected as a regional specialty throughout Europe.
After this very interesting tour you got to know 4 breweries and the way of life in Cologne and the Kölsch from each of the 4 breweries.
You now know what Kölsch and Alt have in common, what a Köbes and a Pittermännche are and where the saying “have something wrong with” comes from.
The breweries we visit: At the beginning of our brewery tour you will get to know Brauhaus Früh am Dom, Brauhaus Sion or Peters Brauhaus, Brauhaus zum Prinzen with the many pictures of Podolski or the Sünner im Walfisch, the Bierhaus en d’r Salzgass (highlight of the carnival ) or Bierhaus am Rhein, but it can also be the gaff, the cathedral, the cathedral in the Stapelhaus, the brewery bar to the Pfaffen or the malt mill.
Can also be combined differently on request.
With the exception of the food, no seats can be reserved on a brewery tour; there may also be short-term changes at the breweries.
The history of Cologne is not neglected either. The brewery tours last between 2 and 2.5 hours.
At the end of the course, each participant receives a brewery diploma.
